This is some serious stuff for kids.

The illustrations are very cartoony but the topics

being tackled are I think beyond sensitive for a child.

Well I guess they intend to open the mind of the reader of this book

that age doesn't really matter when it comes to

child harassment and sexuality.

The child-like illustrations tend to soften the hardness of the issues being discussed.

Very interesting right?

I think I should buy a new reading material, that is, without photos of garments and newest collection from Prada and Galliano. The last book I read was.. oh I forgot. It's between Love at the time of Cholera or The Perks of being a Wallflower.

Remember this movie?

When I was young-er, I wasn't able to appreciate this movie better than today.

Not only because Johnny Depp was so amazing, acting out the character and Tim Burton's so brilliant, directing this film, but also because we (MONO) had the opportunity to recreate and relive the Edward Scissorhands character, and the thrilling part was, it's out of the big screen, or TV or whatever.

Halloween doesn't only mean you have to wear boring costumes, it's also the moment to explore on soooooo many outrageous outfits, turn yourself 360 degrees, be who you want to be but still won't leave you hiding under the bed sheets the next day, avoiding pictures of you wearing bad fashion. It's just like fashion week, only scarier.

So when Supreme's creative director Tim Yap trusted us to do his Edward Scissorhands costume for Encore's opening/ halloween party, our mind went ballistic on how we can execute it, finish it in less than a week but still it should be sturdy, classy and bongga all at the same time.

So here's the result!
